What type of fundraiser is this? Balloon Sale
 

What do you do to prepare for the fundraiser? We get about 300 balloons and fill them with little tiny slips of paper. We ask the Aeries how many free drinks we can have for the sales and ask the members to bring in little trinkets that they have at home. We then fill out the papers with free drink or get a prize or try again. On the try again slips we might say give your neighbor a hug or some other little saying. We also wrap up the little trinkets, people love to open things even if they don't want it. We then fold up the little papers and stuff them in the balloons and blow up the balloons. We sell them for $1.00. People just love it. Use 7 or 9 inch balloons, they are easier to use. People just love to pop balloons, but one little hint, tell them before popping the balloon to hold onto the little slip of paper in the balloon then pop away.

What are the costs to put on this fundraiser? The cost is whatever the balloons sell for.
 

How much do you charge for the tickets or meal, etc.? We sell the balloons for $1.00

How many members are needed to put on the fundraiser? About 3-5 people. One computer person to make out the slips of paper, one to stuff the balloons and 3 to blow up the balloons and tie them up. When there is a crowd in the club get them out and sell them. It usually only takes one to buy them and the balloons go like wild flower.

How much do you usually profit from the fundraiser? Around $275.00

What do you usually hold the fundraiser for? Any charity usually for diabetes.

Additional Comments: Our club loves this Just make sure there is one slip of paper in each balloon. That's the tough part.
