What type of fundraiser is this? It could be a raffle or drawing
What do you do to prepare for the fundraiser? We go to our local printer and get tickets made up. first place $300.00 2nd place $100.00 3rd place $50.00 4th place $25.00 5th place $25.00 6th place $25.00 7th place $25.00 8th place $25.00 9th place $25.00 10th place is a surprise Christmas present witch cost about $25.00 go to your aerie's/aux's meetings give every officer 10 tickets to sell. witch most officers will buy them instead of turning them in. put some tickets at the bar for every 10 tickets the bartender sells give them one. you will be surprise how many they will sell for you. gave as many members as you can tickets to sell app. 5 per member. Start selling Nov 1st have the drawing the Monday before Christmas at 6:00pm. in the aerie's home. ask your trustees if you can have this event. always ask the trustees first for any events
What are the costs to put on this fundraiser? $25.00/$35.00 dollars or use roll tickets name on one side, put that side in the bucket. cost $6.00 for the roll of tickets.
How much do you charge for the tickets or meal, etc.? $2.00 per ticket or 3 tickets for $5.00
How many members are needed to put on the fundraiser? Two to start it will grow.
How much do you usually profit from the fundraiser? $800.00 to $1200.00 dollars.
What do you usually hold the fundraiser for? Cancer fund or anything you need the money for.
Additional Comments: Always remember your membership is what you make of it. it's more then a piece of paper.
