How often do you do have this fundraiser? Whenever we feel like it
What type of fundraiser is this? Fun day
What do you do to prepare for the fundraiser? Have a chairman that lets all members that we will be holding the contest
members bring in their favorite crockpot full of stew, chili, or soup and the chairman's sell bowls for $5.00 each . Each person that buys a bowl gets a slip of paper to vote on their best tasting item. We also have corn bread or garlic bread for sale also for 50 cents per slice or piece. Money goes to the charity that the chairman names. We start to serve around 3' o'clock on Saturday as that is a slow day for our aerie.
What are the costs to put on this fundraiser? Not really anything as everything is donated including the bowls, plastic silverware.
How much do you charge for the tickets or meal, etc.? $5.00 per bowl, 50 cents per slice of garlic bread or slice of cornbread.
How many members are needed to put on the fundraiser? One chairman and how many workers they need or want.
How much do you usually profit from the fundraiser? It depends on the eaters.
What do you usually hold the fundraiser for? Depends what the chairman names.
