How often do you do have this fundraiser? We had it for the first time just last week.
 

What type of fundraiser is this?  Chinese auction
 

What do you do to prepare for the fundraiser? Sent out letters to various businesses and sports organizations explaining the fund raiser and asked for donations. We also asked if any members of the Auxiliary and Aerie wanted to make a basket to donate.

What are the costs to put on this fundraiser? There were some postage costs, as well as ticket costs, all of which ended up being less than $35.00.
 

How much do you charge for the tickets or meal, etc.? $5.00 per sheet of tickets. Each sheet had 25 raffle tickets, plus one door prize ticket.

How many members are needed to put on the fundraiser? At least 1 chairperson and probably 1 or 2 co-chairpersons.

How much do you usually profit from the fundraiser? We had a total of 88 baskets to raffle off, and raised over $1,300.00

What do you usually hold the fundraiser for? The money was donated to a member to help cover high medical costs.

Additional Comments: This was a fun fundraiser. There were so many unique baskets-the ideas are endless. We had everything from pet baskets, river and canal cruises, gardening, puzzles, kid's baskets, booze, candles, gift certificates for restaurants...you name it and I think we had a basket for it!
