We invite a member who is a local "celebrity", such as a politician or business owner, to spend two hours bartending (with assistance from the regular bartenders.) All tips collected are for donation to the charity of the celebrity's choice. The Aerie matches the tips, for up to $500 in additional donation.

We do some advertising, but the members usually do most of their own promotion by word of mouth. This fundraiser has been quite successful; and since members tend to bring guests along, it can also result in new members for the Aerie and Auxiliary.
