What do you do to prepare for the fundraiser?

Have your Aerie and Auxiliary members donate items from home that they are tired of dusting or playing checkers with (moving them around the house) Item should be in good condition. Get a volunteer to be the Auctioneer and have fun. You could also get donation of food and serve a $5.00 dinner ( BBQ beef sandwiches or Hamburger)

What are the costs to put on this fundraiser?

Nothing. Everything is donated unless you decide to do a dinner with it and at that if you get that donated it could still not cost you a thing.
 

How much do you charge for the tickets or meal, etc.? $3.00 to $5.00 only if you serve a meal.

How many members are needed to put on the fundraiser? 2 but the more you have working on it the more fun it is

How much do you usually profit from the fundraiser? $900.00 to $1,500.00

What do you usually hold the fundraiser for? We have done it for the "Cancer Fund" "Jimmy Durante Children’s fund" "Max Baer Heart Fund" It can be done for any fundraiser you are working on.

Additional Comments:
Have fun with it we had crocheted Barbie doll's that was a fight between 2 men and the bid got up to $125.00 per doll. So go for it. It only takes about 2 to 3 weeks to put on a good Auction. Try it you will be hooked on. A real Auctioneer makes fun also.
