Purchase spiced tea ingredients (most of them from Costco).
Purchase the plastic baggy inserts from Cash & Carry.
Purchase the fancy Canvas Christmas bags from Oriental Trading Company.

Mixed together the spiced tea ingredients. Insert the plastic bags into the fancy outer bags and fill with approx. 1 1/2 cups of Spiced Tea mix. Use tie offs that come with fancy bags.

What are the costs to put on this fundraiser?

Fancy Canvas Christmas bags: $5.95 per dozen (Oriental Trading Company) Plastic baggy inserts (Cash & Carry): $9.00 box of 1000 bags.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups instant ice tea powder
2 cups orange flavored powder (TANG)
1 (3-ounce) package lemonade mix
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground cloves
3/4 teaspoon ground ginger
 

How much do you charge for the tickets or meal, etc.? Sell Spiced Tea Bags for $5.00 each.

How many members are needed to put on the fundraiser? Anywhere from 1 to 3 or 4

How much do you usually profit from the fundraiser? Every 10 bags brings in $50.00. Of that, approx. $40.00 is profit.

What do you usually hold the fundraiser for? Children's Fund, Dart Teams, or whichever fund we decide

Additional Comments: These bags smell good. A lot of folks just buy them to stick them into their clothing drawers at home. However, during the cold winter months, it is a wonderful warm drink. It only requires 2 Tablespoons with hot water. This recipe could also be made with a Sugar Substitute and taste just fine.
