For the third year in a row, a pair of bald eagles has nested at Twin Lakes. Their aerie, nestled in an old cottonwood tree, sits on an island across from the Twin Lakes Shopping Center’s west parking lot, just off Amidon near 21st Street. And for the third year in a row, Wichitans have watched and waited to see if the two will successfully hatch eaglets.
